Password Resets

Resetting your password may be required from time to time, and for a variety of reasons. It is very quick and easy, and our guide will help point you in the right direction.

Who to see?

To reset your password, you can go and visit the helpful IT staff up at the IT shed, where they can assist you in resetting your password, and answer any questions you may have.

Why does my password need to be reset?

  • Like milk, passwords for your school computer also come with an expiry date. Your account will remind you within a few days of your password expiring. When your password expires, you will need to reset your password with a new one.
  • From time to time, you may forget what your password for your computer log in, school email account or even the printer was. This can occur after large holiday breaks, such as the end of year school break.
  • Other times you may simply just have a mind blank and forget your password.
  • From time to time your password may not work. This can be because you might not be entering in the correct password, or it could be because the computer or printer doesn't recognize your password. In this event, it can be helpful to reset your password to something new and fresh.
